During the entertaining yet rigorous process of creating our music marketing project my group partners and I split up the work in order to facilitate it. We feel that 4 people working on one thing at once can be disturbing and slow down the pace at which work needs to get done in. Still, we feel that everyone should have input on the things each of us does so we consulted each other on changes that we made to see how we each felt about them. Aaron and I worked on the marketing campaign as well as the research. Juan and Henrique did the editing and brainstorming for the storyboard. And all of us plus some former AICE media students helped to film.
Throughout the process, we came against some issues. One of them was the name of our group we came up with many names and spent days discussing them but none of them seemed to stick or describe the band well enough. This, obviously, slowed down our marketing campaign as we could not make a logo or merch. Finally, we decided on the name "WildRoots" we feel that this describes our personalities as well as emphasizes the eco-friendly road that we want to represent. Another issue we came across was finding a time to film we wanted to start early so we could have as much time as possible to edit but with school and clubs, a lot of us were busy throughout the week. Finally, we decided on Tuesday after school when all of my group mates had senior privilege and I left early from AICE Classical A level which is a study hall now.
Finally, as the last days are coming up we are finalizing our project and the final details. Aaron and I are finished with research and putting together our marketing campaign's final elements. This includes the website and social media. Juan has finished the storyboard, and we have wrapped up filming. The last thing other than the campaign left to do is the editing which we have to finalize. Adding and cutting some clips to make the video look smoother and more professional is what we must do. Down below I will show some screenshots of our work and things we did to make communication regarding the project easier.
